EUAAB Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (EQF)
What does the qualification cover? This qualification covers understanding the principles and practices of assessment, assessing occupational competence in the work environment and assessing vocational skills, knowledge and understanding. Who is it suitable for? This qualification is intended for those who assess in the work environment and in other training environments such as workshops or classrooms. What are the entry requirements?
Do you need to be working to take the qualification? There are no placement hours for this qualification. However you will need to be working as a trainee assessor. How long does it take to complete? You can usually complete it in six to nine months. What related qualifications can you progress to? You can progress on Level 4 qualifications for Internal Quality Assurance and those relevant to teaching, training and education. |

The candidate can exit with a Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (EQF) by completing EXL/A/3194 and either EXL/A/3579. The candidate can exit with a Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (EQF) by completing EXL/A/3194 and EXL/A/3910. How is it assessed? This qualification is internally assessed. Methods appropriate to the assessment of knowledge, understanding and skills include holistic assessment, observation, examination of work products, questions, professional discussions, expert witness testimony and recognition of prior learning. |
